Hello

I'm thinking of buying an Euphonix CS-2000 but I don't have a lot of hands on experience with the console. When I read the spesifications it fits my demands perfectly. But reading isn't always enough. Not talking to dealers eighter. Is there anybody out there with hands on experience who can tell me a litle bit more then what I can read on the net? Is there any flaws in the software? Can there be a lot of break down? Is ther some kind of music genere it don't suite at all? Is there a big different in old and new models? And so on.

Thanks for any help.

The CS2000 is a fine effort on the part of Euphonics. It is among the most serviceable of consoles. When it was new, I took exception to several limitations and found Euphonics helpful in the design of our mods. The dynamics are intuitive and the EQ stable and independent of control section tracking-an important consideration in a used console! It also sounds pretty good and takes mods well.
